Buchanan Hall Holiday Workshops

If you love the scent of fresh evergreens and the satisfaction of creating something with your own two hands, these workshops are for you. Sign up for one or both of these workshops and learn how to make your own wreath or kissing ball. We’ll walk you through how to craft each one using fresh greenery gathered from the farm, with dried accents to give it a little extra sparkle and charm.

By the end, you’ll not only have a beautiful wreath or kissing ball to hang up this holiday season, but also the know-how to make your own for years to come. Plan to spend about an hour with us for each workshop—long enough to slow down, breathe in the scent of pine and cedar, and enjoy a little creative time in the quaint town of Upperville, VA.

Interested in the art of candle-making? Our friend Kristi Wick of Loudoun Wicks will be leading a candle-making workshop at 5:0o pm at Buchanan Hall. You’ll learn everything, from selecting the perfect wax and fragrance oils to blending your own signature scent. At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a beautifully crafted candle—perfect for remembering this special day. While your candle is curing join us for one or both of our holiday floral workshops. Discounts are applied when you sign up for more than one workshop.
